Albertine Yeager Youth Crisis Center

The Albertine Yeager Youth Crisis Center is a twenty-four hour emergency shelter that serves up to 18 children and youth between the ages of 3 and 17. The Yeager Center serves abandoned, abused, homeless, neglected and runaway children and youth. It also serves families who require a cooling off period, utilizing the shelter for their children while issues are resolved between parent and child.

The Yeager Center is a critical resource for Texas youth. Each youth admitted to the Yeager Center receives health services, counseling and other supports to better understand their needs and establish a plan of service, which will provide more stable and appropriate living opportunities upon discharge.

Outreach services are provided to identify runaway and homeless youth in the community who may not be aware of services.

The Executive Director of the Albertine Yeager Youth Crisis Center is Tina Williams, B.S.
The mailing address is P.O. Box 2600, Galveston, Texas 77553. Telephone (409) 763-8861. Facsimile (409) 763-0929.
