The Galveston Island Child Development Center provides a stimulating, supportive, focused environment that is geared toward meeting children's individual developmental needs. The curricula and activities have been carefully selected and enhanced to create positive programming that supports the educational, social, physical and emotional growth of each child. The classrooms are specifically designed to develop and support each child's learning exploration and experience.

Brightly colored rooms are filled with child size furniture, friendly, inviting play and rest areas, creative materials, toys and enticing educational activities. The classroom schedules provide a balance of quiet/active, individual/small group, self directed/teacher directed, indoor/outdoor activities to enrich each child's day. Well trained, friendly, caring teachers carefully design weekly/monthly lesson plans that are built around each child's needs. Nutritious snacks, well balance hot meals, and transportation to and from school are included in monthly tuition/fees.
