Is
a licensed Child Placing Agency (CPA) that recruits, trains, evaluates,
monitors and provides supportive services to foster homes in the greater
Galveston – Houston area. The agency serves children with special
needs and youth from birth through age 17 and currently operates two
foster care programs:
•
The Therapeutic Foster Care Program –serving a population that
is primarily native to Texas and referred by Child Protective Services
(CPS) or Shriners Burns Hospital
• The DUCS Funded Foster Care Program –serving a population
that is primarily from Central America, South America and Mexico and
who have been referred by the United States Department of Health and
Human Services (Office of Refugee Resettlement, Division of Unaccompanied
Children’s Services)
