Children's Health Insurance Program (TexCare/CHIP)

The CHIP/Children's Medicaid Program is about to change by leaps and bounds. Lynn Bernhard has been joined by Andrea Hypolite to bring the program up to date. They will be doing Community Outreach and Assistance with FUUSA, Families Under Urban and Social Attack in the Gulf Coast Region. They will be helping persons in successfully completing applications for Medicaid (children and adults), Food Stamps, Temporary Aid for Needy Families(TANF), insurance for children and Long Term Care. They will also be handling Outreach and Assistance in Galveston, Liberty and Chambers counties. This is an expansion from Galveston County alone.

They look forward to working with FUUSA in bringing the word about these services to eligible persons in the Gulf Coast Region.

This is quite an undertaking, but we have wonderful partners in our corner.

Look for them around your neighborhood in the next few months; you just might see them there!!!!!
