Rio Grande Valley Welcomes New Safe Place Sites!

Raspa’s King

Raspa’s King was welcomed as the newest Safe Place site in the Pharr community by The Children’s Center, Inc.’s (TCCI) team in Pharr, Texas. Adrian and is wife Gloria Rios, own this popular family owned and operated snack shop.

 

Adrian and his wife are no strangers to helping keep youth in the Pharr community safe, as they have often had youth come into their shop looking for a sanctuary while going through trouble.

 

Ana Sanchez and Tracy Gomez worked with the Rio’s family on required Safe Place training that insures runaway and homeless youth will have a place of refuge during a crisis.

 

Mi Familia Cash Clinic

 

The TCCI Team welcomed Mi Familia Cash Clinic as a new Safe Place site. The Children’s Center. Inc. has 185 Safe Place Sites throughout Texas. Rebecca Cervantes, Operations Manager worked with the TCCI Team.
